After-school program
The Calgary Classical Academy offers a Monday to Friday before and after-school program. As these program costs are not provided by Alberta Education, additional fees do apply. Fees are charged monthly, on a cost-recovery basis, and do not exceed the actual cost of administering these programs.

Supervision will be provided over the lunch hour. Parents may pick up children at any time within these hours. The programming hours listed here are tentative and may be subject to change depending on enrollment numbers.

Alberta Education does not provide additional funds to support extra-curricular programs outside of regular school hours. Moreover, for Kindergarten children, funding is only provided for half-time programs.
For that reason, we are required to charge fees for both the full-time/extended kindergarten program, as well as for before/after-school programming. These fees are charged on a cost-recovery basis, and do not exceed the cost of administering the programs. Fees support the cost of materials/supplies, and the additional staffing that is necessary to deliver these programs.

We are currently developing a plan to offer specific after-school clubs and hope to pilot some programming next school year at the Calgary Currie campus. These may include team sports, classical dance, music, choir, studio arts, chess, French, Spanish, Mandarin, science, cross-country, and martial arts. Any programming offered will not be affiliated with the Classical Childcare program or the government subsidy programs. More information will be provided as soon as it is available.
